This policy explains what information porchlight.works (the "site") collects and how it's used. The site is run by Benjamin Levisay ("I", "me", "Porchlight").

What this site collects

This site has no accounts, ads, or tracking cookies, and I don't use analytics tools to follow you around the web.

• Emails you send me. If you email me, I receive your email address, your name if you include it, and whatever you write. I use it only to reply and to follow up about what you asked.
• Messages from the contact form. If you use the form on the Contact page, it collects your name, email address, business name if you give one, and your message. The form is run by Formspree, which delivers it to my email and may run a spam check (such as a captcha) when you send it.
• Basic technical logs. The site is hosted by Cloudflare, which may keep standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages requested, to deliver the site and protect it from attacks.
• Fonts. The site loads fonts from Google Fonts, so Google receives your IP address and browser information when a page loads.

How I use information

I use what you send me to answer your questions, set up early access if you ask for it, and improve Porchlight. I do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.

Who else sees it

Only the services that run the site and my email: Cloudflare (hosting), Formspree (the contact form), and Google (fonts and email). Each handles data under its own privacy policy. I may also share information if the law requires it.

How long I keep it

I keep emails for as long as they're useful for our conversation or business records, then delete them. You can ask me to delete yours at any time.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct, or delete the information I have about you by emailing benjamin@porchlight.works.

Children

This site is meant for business professionals and is not directed to children under 13. I don't knowingly collect information from children.

Porchlight apps

This policy covers the website only. Any app or client project will have its own terms if it needs them.

Changes

If this policy changes, I'll update it on this page and change the date at the top.
